The Head Office, Design and Manufacturing facilities are based in Greenfields, East London, with showrooms in Cape Town and Gauteng. International offices are situated in Florida (USA) and Cernobbia, (Italy). The plant in East London span over 26 000 square metres and produce more than 300 000 different products, which are distributed all over the world through the most prestigious and best recognised wholesalers. Dr Franco Beltrame, Chairman and co-founder, together with his new management team are intent to focus on adding value by listening to clients' needs, desires and expectations in order to translate them into the highest passementeries to be found in the world today. This concept is acknowledged and recognised by clients and competitors alike at various trade shows worldwide where Castellano Beltrame passementeries stand confidently above the expected aesthetic. THE REQUEST PROCEDURE The requester must comply with the procedures prescribed in the Act relating to requests for access to particular records. The request must be made on the prescribed forms which must be submitted together with the prescribed fees. All requests should be directed to the Information Officer at the contact details listed above. The form should be completed with enough particularity to enable the Information Officer to identify: The information required The identity of the requester The format of access required in the event of the request being granted The contact details of the requester. The requester is required to identify the particular right that the requester seeks to exercise or protect in making the request. In particular, the requester must state how the information requested is necessary for the exercise or protection of that particular right. The request will be processed within 21 working days unless it is of such a nature that it warrants further consideration. The requester will be informed by the Company whether the request has been successful or not and whether access to the records will be granted. If the requester requires reasons for the refusal of the request, this must be stated at the outset at the time of making the request. If a request is made on behalf of another person the requester must submit proof of the capacity in which the requester is making the request. It a requester is not able to complete the prescribed form because of illiteracy or disability, the request may be made orally. A personal requester who seeks access to records concerning the requester's personal information is not required to supply the prescribed fee, apart from a fee for the reproduction of the information. 5. AVAILABILITY OF THE MANUAL This manual is available in hard copy format for viewing at Corner of Sheffield and Brooklyn Roads, Woodbrook, East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa. A copy of the manual may be requested free of charge from the Information Officer. APPENDIX - 1 FEES IN RESPECT OF PRIVATE BODIES REPRODUCTION FEES Where requested documents are those that are readily available without request, the only charge that will be levied for obtaining such records will be a fee for the reproduction of the record.
